The New York State High School Football Coaches Association, founded in 1994, is an organization in New York State dedicated to maintaining the high status of the football coaching profession. Its membership consists of high school coaches from across the State, the collegiate ranks, Athletic Directors, as well as Associate (non-coaches), and Retired coaches.

10TH ANNUAL CLINIC – TURNING STONE – FEBRUARY 4,5 AND 6

The NYS High School Football Coaches Association will be hosting the 10th Annual clinic on February 4,5 and 6 at the Turning Stone Casino.   Coaches from Bowling Green, Syracuse, University of Rochester, Florida Atlantic, Purdue, Cornell, Monmouth, University of Buffalo and the University of Oregon will be speaking.  In addition, some of the best high school coaches in the state will also present.   The brochure and all of the information on the clinic is attached and is located under Forms and Docs and Camps/Clinics on the site.

CAPITAL DISTRICT NFF – CLINIC OF CHAMPIONS

JANUARY 18 – RPI
The Capital District Chapter of the National Football Foundation will be holding a clinic on Monday, January 18 at the new RPI Sports Facility.   Coaches from the University at Albany, RPI, Union College and Hudson Valley Community College will be speaking.  In addition, a keynote speaker from Syracuse University.   The clinic will be divided into two levels.   One speaker at each time slot for the college, varsity and JV levels and another speaker for the modified and youth levels.   The cost is $40 per person and $150 per staff.   That includes a portfolio, t-shirt, lunch and food at a social event after the clinic.   A brochure detailing the day is attached.   Capital District Chapter President Nick Fitzgerald is quote saying; “This clinic is not only about learning about the game of football but it is about getting together as coaches, sharing ideas and promoting the game we all love so very much.   The speakers that are included are top notch and it will only make a coach a better coach.”

NEW YORK GIANTS YOUTH CAMPS SEEK CAMP DIRECTORS & COACHES

This summer, the New York Giants Youth Football Camps will operate more than 25 community-based, non-contact football camps through New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  These outstanding summer coaching opportunities are available the weeks of June 7 – 11, June 14 – 18, June 21 – 25, June 28 – July 2, July 12 – 16, July 19 – 23, July 26 - 30.

This summer, the New York Giants will launch multiple, week-long, full-day, non-contact football camps for kids ages 6-14 years old.  These are the official youth football camps of the New York Giants.

SEEKING CAMP DIRECTOR AND COACHES
Directors are contracted and paid to lead single camp or consecutive camp locations. Qualifications include high school, college or professional football coaching experience.  A degree in Education with experience teaching elementary and/or grade school is preferred.

We seek highly organized information managers, positive, high-energy personalities with strong leadership qualities.   Directors must demonstrate a strong network of coaches and student instructor relationships.

FULL SERVICE SUPPORT
Directors, hired as independent contractors, will be provided with a hiring budget, customer information reports, schedules, administrative services, Giants Camp equipment, Giants off-the-field program materials and goals/objectives for the camp.  Directors are required to possess their own expertise and bring their own equipment and training materials to the camps.

The director is also required to contract his staff based on camp sales and is the key person in charge of program execution.  Interview(s), references, background checks are all part of the hiring process and all coaches are subject to criminal background screenings.
